Okay, this is a totally fluff post. But tell me, how could I possibly not post something about the betrayal of the Knights Templar by Phillip the Fair and Pope Clement? After all, it happened on Friday, October 13th, 1307. That’s 699 years ago!

I’d wager that most of the Freemasons who visit this blog don’t need any history lesson on this topic, but for those of you who have never heard of this before, here’s the accelerated short version.
