Humblousity

Traditionally, this is the best time of year for looking over the good and the gaffs of the previous year while resolving to do better in the coming one.  It’s an admirable thing, especially in other people.

Accordingly, I’m pleased to announce that I have been named the humblest and most modest blogger ever.  I can say without trepidation that I certainly deserve that honor; I tell everyone within earshot that I never toot my own horn, and I proclaim as often as possible, lest anyone forget, that I have no desire to receive accolades for my modest ways and self-effacing personality.

However, because I’m much, much more modest than pretty much anyone else that I know, I’m not going to mention that several people have also said the same thing about me. I guess my humblousity is one of those things that you’ll have to discover for yourselves.

Wishing you all the best in 2008.
